I don't really know what to write so i'm just going to add some pics about bulimia and anorexia.

controlling purpose

My controlling purpose is to analyze the different causes of bulimia. I am doing this to figure out why, psychologically, people with the disorder have developed it. My controlling purpose and research questions are very similar in that they both look at the causes of the disorder. I do think I could more specific with my controlling purpose but I don’t want to say that just one thing is the exact cause of the disorder because I believe it’s kind of a clash of many things, and it is helping me answer my research question.

Heyy my names Joanne Koutromanos and i'm a freshman here at uwm. My research on eating disorder's is just an interest i have after watching a friend of mine deal with it. Psychology overall is just interesting to me and i hope to gain knowledge from the diseases and all the different causes that lead up to the disease.

Psychological Causes that Lead to Bulimia

For my research project I am looking into why people develope the eating disorder bulimia. I choose to do this because i'm intrested in psychology and a close friend of mine actually suffered from bulimia. I am doing this research to further understand why an individal developes bulimia and what causes contribute to the disorder. My audience and the research its intented for is for people suffering from the disorder to maybe relate and hopefully help find out what causes the disorder. With my work i hope to accomplish a better understanding of the disorder and hopefully develope other concepts on how it's formed.
